Conference table and chairs showing an array of assistive technology for low vision and blindness

The Luna 6 reader is fabulous and has helped her so much!  It is so easy to use and the clarity is great!!  Thank you again for the wonderful demonstration of all the devices.  It was great to be able to go to your demo room.  I think this will help open her world again.  You are really terrific!!

Optelec ClearReader+
The ClearReader+ is an amazing device, with powerful technology, that’s incredibly easy to use. I have low vision, and I appreciate the effort to design this device for use by people like me. Simple concept — it takes a picture of your text document, and reads it to you.  (Video tutorials make it simple.)  Three button control for forward, reverse, or stop.  Put in a memory card (not included) and you can save and open documents, in many different formats.  File names can be saved with a voice label.  It is a valuable investment, which helps my productivity and independence.

OrCam MyEye PRO Low Vision Wearable

I have had Stargardt disease since age 10 and have been visually impaired since then. I have found the OrCam MyEye Pro device incredibly useful to help read both books and magazines. I have not had much experience with advanced technology, and I was able to easily use this device, especially with the help of AdaptiVision. It has opened up a new world and has helped me read small print on everything from prescription bottles to new recipes. It has also been a great help reading children’s books to my baby granddaughter. I am so grateful to have found this device. Working with Stu and AdaptiVision has been wonderful and I highly recommend them!

Stuart, you’re excellent.  You’re a wonderful support.  After buying a number of products from you, I can say from experience that you are not a pushy salesperson.  There are not enough words to express my gratitude.

I could not live at all without this screen. I would be lost without it. It’s the best investment I ever made for my eyes… other than the ophthalmologist 😉

Stu Flom at Carroll Center for the Blind Tech Fair

Dear Mr. Flom, I know it’s your business to market the visual aid machines, but I want to acknowledge your personal approach. Your care and consideration in getting things set up for me was much appreciated. I’m finding many ways to make use of the video magnifier’s possibilities.
