Optelec’s ClearReader+ Basic is a standalone scanner that reads aloud any printed text. It allows you to read instantly, whether at home, at school, or at work. Simply place your reading material below the camera, press a button, and in a few seconds, you’ll hear the text read aloud in your preferred voice and language.
Unlike text-to-speech software, it does not require a computer, nor does it require any computer skills to operate.
