Founded in Lynnfield, Massachusetts in 1994, AdaptiVision travels throughout New England in service to our customers.  Our business model is based on direct service to customers in New Hampshire through in-home consultations.  Today’s technology allows us to serve customers both in person and remotely by phone and video chat.  Through our personalized service, our low vision clients receive the best solutions to help them achieve greater independence.

Helping one person at a time achieve greater independence

As of 2016, there were reportedly 28,600 individuals in New Hampshire with a visual disability, according to statistics from the National Federation of the Blind.  If you are one of those counted, know that you are not alone.

  • RiverWoods Low Vision Support Group (Exeter)

Low Vision Support Group meets the 1st Tuesday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November) from 3:00PM to 4:00PM in the Founders Parlor at RiverWoods of Exeter.  For more information please call Shelley Ledoux at (603) 658-3037.

Vision Support Groups sponsored by The New Hampshire Association for the Blind meet at Sight Centers in Concord, Manchester, and Portsmouth.  Portsmouth Group welcomes the visually impaired of all ages.  Manchester group is specifically for visually impaired women over age 55.  Concord Group is mostly for the visually impaired of working age, but all ages are welcome and do attend.  For more information please call the Sight Center at (603) 224-4039 or (800) 464-3075 (Email: [email protected]).

  • Support Group for the Visually Impaired (Lebanon)

Low Vision Support Group “helping those with visual impairments maintain their independence through support, resources and discussions.”  Group meets the 2nd Monday of each month from 4:00PM to 6:00PM in Cafe B on Level 2 of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.  For more information please call Leigh Fredricks at (603) 653-5321; or Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center’s Community Health Education at (603) 653-1522.
